Our Programs

“Our Programs For 022/2027 Strategic Plan”

Education:

We will establish a comprehensive education program that promotes the full participation of girls and young women in education. This will include supporting girls who have dropped out of school due to early marriage, pregnancy, or other reasons, to re-enrol and complete their education. We will organize community sensitization campaigns to raise awareness about the importance of educating girls, provide learning materials and establish partnerships with academic institutions to deliver quality education. We will also establish a safe space for adolescent girls to enable them to develop their potential, share experiences, and participate in activities aimed at promoting their personal and social growth. We will provide training in leadership and life skills, promote peer mentoring, and encourage community participation.  Our goal is to enrol 30 girls, 5 PWDs and provide 20 safe spaces targeting 500 adolescent girls annually (2,500 by the fifth year). This is link to the achievement of GOAL 2 ‘’Every child, adolescent girl, youth and young woman learn’’ in this strategy.

Child Protection

In achieving GOAL 3 ‘’Every child, adolescent girl, youth and young woman is protected from violence and exploitation’’ in the strategy, we will establish community-based child protection committees (CPCs) that will work to prevent child abuse, promote children’s rights and welfare, and provide support to survivors. We will collaborate with local authorities to ensure that cases of child abuse and trafficking are reported, investigated and prosecuted. We will provide training on child protection issues and continue to conduct sensitization campaigns to raise awareness of the importance of child protection. In addition, we will establish an interim care center for survivors of Sexual Gender Based Violence and trafficking to provide medical, psychological and legal support. Our goal is to support 30 survivors (20 SGBV and 10 Trafficking) each year.

Livelihood

In achieving GOAL 5 in the strategy which states about ‘’Every child, adolescent girl, youth and young woman has an equitable chance in life’’. We will establish a skills training center to provide vocational and life skills training for young women and girls. The center will focus on skills development, entrepreneurial training, and support for young women farmers to improve their livelihood. Our goal is to enrol 20 young women, 2 PWDs, 5 young males, 15 adolescent girls each year in our entrepreneurship and skills development programs, creating the opportunity for them to be self-reliant and agents of change.

Human Rights Promotion and Defending

In continue achievement of GOAL 3 ‘’Every child, adolescent girl, youth and young woman is protected from violence and exploitation’’ in the strategy. We will conduct community sensitization campaigns on human rights laws, policies, and conventions, as well as provide training to help communities understand their rights. We will establish a human rights community group to promote the rights of women and girls in the community, and to advocate for equal rights and opportunities for everyone. Our goal is to promote the rights of at least 3,000 women and girls by the fifth year.

Health

(Promoting Comprehensive Sex Education, Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health Rights, Malaria, Neglected Tropical Disease and Promote and support a Safe and Clean Environment):

In achieving Goal 1 and 4 ‘Every child, adolescent girl, youth and young woman lives in a safe and clean environment, safe from malaria, neglected tropical disease, access to comprehensive sex education, and promote adolescents’ sexual reproductive health rights’’. We will establish community health dialogues to address the health issues facing women and girls in our community, including sexual and reproductive health rights, malaria, and neglected tropical diseases. We will provide prevention information, distribute non-medical interventions for malaria and neglected tropical diseases, and refer community members to health facilities. We will also provide training to traditional birth attendants to increase their capacity to provide safe deliveries. Finally, we will promote safe environmental practices, including supporting the construction of household pit latrines, promoting the use of clean water, energy-efficient stoves, and waste disposal practices that do not harm the environment. We will also establish community-based clean-up campaigns to improve sanitation and hygiene in the community. Our goal is to reach 1,500 community members annually with these interventions by the fifth year.
