What Inspired the Formation of the NAYE

The formation of NAYE was inspired by the desire to make a positive impact in the lives of children and young people, particularly girls and women, who are often marginalized and face various forms of discrimination and violence. We saw a need for a platform where their voices could be heard, their rights could be protected, and their potential could be realized.

We were also motivated by the alarming rates of child abuse, sexual and gender-based violence, human trafficking, and other social issues affecting children and youth in our community. We felt a sense of urgency to take action and advocate for policies and programs that address these issues and promote positive change.

Furthermore, we were inspired by the resilience and strength of children and young people, especially girls and women, who despite facing numerous challenges, continue to strive for a better future. We believe that by empowering them with education, skills training, and opportunities for economic growth, we can create a more just and equitable society for all.

Overall, our passion for social justice and commitment to promoting the rights of children and youth were the driving forces behind the formation of NAYE. We envision a world where all individuals, regardless of their background or circumstances, can thrive and reach their full potential.
